The consent form
Where and how consent is captured
When a business shares a quote, the customer gets a private online portal. The opt-in form below appears there. The customer enters their own mobile number and checks the consent box — express written consent, captured per customer with a timestamp.

The opt-in form as it appears in the customer's online quote portal. The consent box is unchecked by default — the customer must enter their own mobile number and actively check it. “Summit Builders” is the business's own name, shown dynamically.
How you opt in
Two ways to start receiving texts
Both paths require an affirmative action from you. Consent is never assumed, never pre-checked, and never bundled into another agreement.
No further texts are sent unless you reply YES (or START / UNSTOP). If you don't reply, nothing is sent.

How we handle your number
- Your number is used only to deliver the texts you opted in to receive from the business you are working with.
- Consent is recorded per customer with a timestamp, and your opt-out is sticky — once you reply STOP, we keep that preference.
- Full detail on data handling is in our Privacy Policy (Section 4a) and Terms of Service (Section 6a).
