Quoting software for Xero

Xero quoting software
that wins the work.

Setell is the AI agent that runs your quote-to-cash. It reads the inbound request, drafts a branded quote, revises it when the customer pushes back — and the moment they approve, the invoice lands in your Xero organisation automatically.

You do the quoting. Approved quotes flow into Xero as invoices — one-way invoice sync today, with deeper sync on the roadmap.

See how it works

The problem

Your quote and your invoice
live in two different worlds.

Xero is brilliant at the books. It was never meant to quote the job. So tradies and service businesses across Australia, New Zealand and the UK end up doing this:

Quote in a spreadsheet
A request comes in. You stop what you are doing, open a spreadsheet or a Word template, and hand-build the quote. Hours later, the customer has gone quiet — or quoted someone faster.
Re-key it into Xero
They say yes. Now you re-type the whole thing into Xero by hand to raise the invoice. Same numbers, twice, with a transcription error waiting to happen.
Chase the cash
Because the quote and the invoice were never connected, the invoice goes out late — and slow invoicing is the cheapest cash-flow lever you are leaving on the table.

The deal you win and the invoice you raise should be one continuous flow. Setell makes it one — with Xero on the receiving end.

How it works

Request in. Quote out. Invoice in Xero.

One flow, end to end. Setell owns the quoting; the approved quote becomes a Xero invoice automatically.

1
A request lands
An email or RFQ comes in. Setell reads it — the scope, the quantities, the customer — and turns messy input into a structured job. No form to fill in.
2
Setell drafts a branded quote
The AI drafts a quote in your brand and your numbers. Customer wants a change? Setell revises it in place — it never re-quotes from scratch and never loses the line you wanted kept.
3
Approved → invoice in Xero
The customer approves, and Setell pushes an invoice into your Xero organisation automatically. The push is the invoice — one-way today, raised in Xero without you re-keying a thing.

Where Setell is deep

The quoting is the product.

Xero handles your books. Setell handles the part Xero never could — winning the deal and getting it priced right. This is where the depth is.

Drafts from the inbox
A request arrives as an email or RFQ and Setell turns it into a structured, ready-to-review quote — reading the scope and quantities for you. Accept messy input, produce a clean quote. You are not starting from a blank page anymore.
A revision engine, not a re-draft
"Drop the demo line, move the tile to $3K, add a callout fee." That is a structured patch — Setell applies it and produces a new version with the rest of the quote untouched. It never regenerates from scratch, so the line you wanted kept stays exactly as it was.
Brand-matched output
Your logo, your colours, your voice, your PDF. The quote that reaches the customer looks like you sent it — because in a service business, the customer is buying you, not your tooling. Nothing about it reads as agent-shaped.
Pricing memory that learns you
Setell learns how you price from the quotes you send through Setell — your rates, your margins, how you price for each customer and job type. Every quote sharpens the next. This learning loop runs on your own Setell history, so it works for Xero users from day one.
Approved quotes land in Xero
The moment a quote is approved, the invoice is raised in your Xero organisation automatically — no re-keying, no copy-paste. The invoice push closes the loop between the deal you won and the cash you are owed.

Xero invoice sync

Straight talk on the Xero link

Live today

When you approve a quote, Setell pushes an invoice into your Xero organisation. It is a one-way invoice push — the quoting happens in Setell, and the invoice is raised in Xero for you. Connect Xero once in Settings on the Business or Pro plan and it runs automatically from then on.

On the roadmap

Deeper, two-way Xero sync is on the roadmap — but it is not live yet, so we will not pretend it is. Today, the Xero integration does not read payments back, match customers against Xero, or sync your item catalogue. We would rather you connect Xero knowing exactly what it does than be surprised later.

Already on QuickBooks instead? Setell's QuickBooks integration goes much deeper — two-way sync, customer matching, and history-based pricing intelligence.

Xero quoting, answered

Does Setell sync with Xero?

Yes — for invoicing. When you approve a quote, Setell pushes an invoice into your Xero organisation automatically, so you never re-key the job by hand. Today that link is a one-way invoice push: Setell does the quoting and the invoice lands in Xero. Deeper Xero sync is on the roadmap.

Does Setell two-way sync with Xero?

Not today. The Xero integration is a one-way invoice push: approved quotes flow from Setell into Xero as invoices. It does not yet read back payments, match customers, or sync your item catalogue from Xero — that deeper, two-way sync is on the roadmap. We would rather under-promise here than have you expecting reconciliation that is not live yet.

Which plans include Xero?

Connecting your Xero organisation is available on the Business and Pro plans. You link Xero once in Settings, and from then on approved quotes push to Xero as invoices automatically.

Does it work for tradies in Australia, New Zealand and the UK?

Yes. Xero is the dominant cloud-accounting system across AU, NZ and the UK, and Setell is built to sit on top of it — the quoting agent on the front, your Xero organisation on the back. Tradies, contractors and service businesses all run the same flow: a job request comes in, Setell drafts a branded quote, the customer approves, and the invoice lands in Xero.

How do I connect my Xero organisation?

Sign in, open Settings, and connect Xero in one click — you authorise Setell against your Xero organisation and you are done. From that point, every approved quote pushes an invoice into Xero automatically. No spreadsheets, no copy-paste, no re-keying.

Does Setell learn how I price?

Yes, and this works the same whether you are on Xero or anywhere else. Setell learns your pricing from the quotes you send through Setell — your rates, your margins, how you price for each customer and job type — so your drafts get sharper the more you quote. That learning loop runs on your own Setell quote history; it is not dependent on Xero.
