For CPA firms building client advisory services

A client advisory deliverable
that isn’t software resale.

Advisory practices grow on operational insight, not another license to resell. The Quote Pipeline Audit is a packaged deliverable for service-business clients — produced by your firm, under your brand, from data the client already has.

Where This Starts

Why it fits an advisory practice

A recurring advisory conversation anchored in operational numbers — not another compliance touchpoint.
A deliverable your staff can produce after two working sessions, from a QuickBooks export.
No software commitment required from the client to receive it — the audit stands on its own.

The Deliverable

The deliverable: the Quote Pipeline Audit

Four findings from the client’s own books, assembled into a report your firm presents.

Open-estimate value
The dollar amount sitting in estimates that never became invoices — counted, aged, and totaled.
Estimate-to-invoice conversion
How much of what your client quotes actually turns into billed work.
Estimate-to-invoice lag
The median gap between quoting the work and billing it — the number most owners have never seen.
The aging picture
Which open estimates are recent and which have quietly died — by customer and by month.
Branded to your firm. We build the first one with your team and hand it back within 72 hours of the export.

How It Works

How your firm runs it

1
A working session with your team
We pick one client together — a service business that quotes — and walk through the deliverable end to end.
2
Export in, audit back
Your team sends the estimates export; the report returns under your firm’s brand within 72 hours.
3
Your firm presents it
Conversation script and action-plan template included. The recommendations are the client’s to act on — one of them may be Setell.
4
Fold it into the practice
Price it standalone or inside an advisory engagement. The workbook and templates make it repeatable by your staff.

You're Not Doing This Alone

Training and tools come with the seat

The founding cohort is small on purpose — twenty-five seats and live office hours. Everything below is open right now, no seat required.

Quote Pipeline Audit
Drop a client’s QuickBooks estimates export and get the four findings in seconds — free, no signup. It computes in your browser; the client’s file never leaves your machine.
Open the tool
Partner Academy
Two working modules, self-serve: produce the Quote Pipeline Audit from a real export, then turn it into a client decision. Training to deliver a service — not a software demo.

Delivery toolkit
The reference you open before a client meeting: which of the three diagnostics to reach for and when, how to pick your first client, the minute-by-minute conversation script, and the one-page action plan you leave behind.

Explaining Setell to a client
What Setell is, what it deliberately does not do, and how to say it in an owner’s language — plus the claims never to make. Every line checked against the product. Prints as a one-pager.
Read the one-pager
Setell Certified Advisor
The credential and the badge you display. Issued on a delivered audit and a held client conversation — evidence, not a quiz.
See what it takes
Marketing kit
Copy-paste assets: the client offer email (white-label), a LinkedIn announcement, bio and signature lines, and the badge embeds with usage rules.
Copy the assets
ROI calculator
Six inputs, and what manual quoting costs a client over a year — in time, lost jobs, and margin. The instrument to hand an owner once the audit has their attention.
Run the numbers
Cash-cycle scorecard
A seven-dimension self-assessment of a client’s quote-to-cash cycle — turnaround, follow-up cadence, and the rest — with a 30-day playbook.

Compensation

Compensation, on your terms

Participation requires no referral compensation — the program is built to be worth joining at zero.

Where firm policy or professional obligations restrict referral fees, you choose how to handle the economics: decline entirely, pass the benefit to your client as a discount, direct it to the firm where permitted, or participate uncompensated.

Attest clients are excluded from any referral relationship. The audit itself is your advisory deliverable to price independently — your firm’s professional-standards judgment governs, and we default to zero-compensation participation.

Questions

Is this a reseller arrangement?
No. The program trains your team to deliver an advisory service your firm owns. Any referral relationship is optional, separate, and documented in plain language for your firm to evaluate.
How does compensation interact with our independence obligations?
That’s your firm’s call, and the program doesn’t force it: default participation is zero-compensation, and the alternatives — client discount, firm-directed, declined — are stated in the program terms. We don’t provide professional-ethics advice.
What do clients pay for the audit?
Whatever your firm prices. It’s your deliverable — fold it into an advisory engagement or deliver it standalone.
Which clients fit?
Service businesses that quote — contractors, trades, job shops, field services — on QuickBooks. Attest clients are out of referral scope by design.

Start with one client.

We reply within a day and build the first audit with you. If it doesn't earn a second one, no hard feelings.
