Trust mode
Business+Overview
Trust mode lets Boxx handle the routine stuff on its own and just tell you what it did — so you're not confirming every little thing. It still stops and asks before anything that looks risky, like a quote that's priced way off. Trust is on the Business and Pro plans.
Trust mode is a Business and Pro feature. On the Free plan you stay in Watch (which is always free). Upgrade in Settings → Billing to turn Trust on.
Before you start
- A Setell Business or Pro plan.
- Some of your own job history helps — Trust leans on Boxx's pricing check, which gets sharper the more quotes you've sent.
What Boxx does in Trust
- Routine work moves on its own, with a short note in the conversation telling you what happened — so you can scroll back and see it.
- Boxx still asks before a quote that's priced off. If the pricing check is at the edge of your usual range, Boxx proceeds and leaves you a note. If it's clearly off, Boxx stops and asks — same as Watch.
- The everyday stuff stops feeling like a checkpoint; the unusual stuff still gets your eyes.
Turn it on
- Go to Settings and find the Autonomy card.
- For Sending a quote, pick Trust.
- Boxx confirms with a quick note that it'll narrate instead of pausing on routine pricing pushback.
What to expect
- Fewer interruptions. Boxx keeps moving on the everyday stuff and tells you after.
- You can still see everything. Every auto-action leaves a note in the conversation. Nothing is hidden.
- The real risks still pause. A quote that's clearly under- or over-priced still waits for you. Boxx never auto-sends something it flagged as a real problem.
Troubleshooting
- The Trust button is greyed out. Trust needs a Business or Pro plan. The card says so inline — upgrade in Settings → Billing.
- Boxx still paused on a send I expected it to handle. That quote tripped the strong pricing check (a clear FLAG), which always asks. Look at the note, then confirm or adjust the price. See
docs/autonomy/pricing-analyst. - I downgraded and Trust is still set. Downgrading doesn't flip your modes back automatically — that's your call. Switch the action back to Watch in Settings if you want.
FAQ
- What's the difference from Auto? Trust leaves you a note each time it auto-proceeds. Auto does it quietly and sums it up in your morning brief. Both still ask on a real pricing flag.
- Will Trust send something I didn't want? No. It only skips the confirm step on routine work. The safety checks and the pricing flag still stand.
- Do I set Trust once for everything? You set it per action. Today that's Sending a quote; more options appear as they ship.
