Legal links

Overview

Add the links you want at the bottom of everything your customer sees — your privacy policy, terms, licenses, whatever you need. They show up in the footer of your customer's Deal Room and in the footer of every quote email. Add up to five.

Before you start

Nothing required — this works on every plan. Have the web address (URL) ready for each link you want to add.

Steps

  1. Go to Settings and scroll to Legal Links.
  2. Click + Add link.
  3. Type a Label (e.g. "Privacy Policy") and the URL (it must start with http:// or https://).
  4. Click out of the field — it saves on its own. Repeat for each link, up to five.
To remove a link, click Remove next to it.

What happens next

  • Your links appear in the footer of the Deal Room your customer opens.
  • They also appear in the footer of every quote email you send.
  • Changes take effect on new sends right away.

Troubleshooting

  • "Links must start with http:// or https://". Add the full web address, including the https:// at the front.
  • My link didn't save. Each link saves when you click out of the field. Make sure both the Label and the URL are filled in.
  • I can't add another link. Five is the limit. Remove one you don't need to make room.
  • The footer isn't showing. A footer only appears once you've added at least one link.

FAQ

  • How many links can I add? Up to five.
  • Where do these show up? The Deal Room footer and the quote-email footer — both customer-facing.
  • Do I have to add any? No. They're optional. If you add none, no footer shows.
  • Can I reorder them? They appear in the order you add them. Remove and re-add to change the order.
