Watch mode

Overview

Watch mode is how Boxx starts for everyone, and it's the simplest to understand: Boxx does the work and asks you before anything goes out to a customer. You're always the one who hits send. Watch is free on every plan.

What Boxx does in Watch

  • Boxx drafts the quote, writes the follow-up, finds the job — all the work.
  • Before a quote goes to a customer, Boxx stops and shows you what it's about to send.
  • You look it over and confirm. Only then does it go out.

Nothing reaches a customer without your okay. If you walk away mid-task, it waits for you.

How a send looks in Watch

  1. Ask Boxx to send a quote — for example, "send the quote to Northwest Fabrication."
  2. Boxx runs a quick pricing check, then shows you the quote and asks you to confirm.
  3. You confirm. Boxx sends it and tells you it's out.

What you'll notice

  • It's a little slower on purpose. That pause to confirm is the point — it's your last look before a customer sees it.
  • The pricing check shows up here too. If the price looks low or high against your past jobs, Boxx tells you before you confirm. See docs/autonomy/pricing-analyst.
  • Drafts wait for you. Anything Boxx prepared but hasn't sent sits in your pipeline under Awaiting approval, ready when you are.

Want Boxx to handle more on its own?

When you're comfortable, you can move routine work to Trust or Auto so Boxx doesn't stop and ask every time. Those are Business and Pro features. See docs/autonomy/trust and docs/autonomy/auto.

Troubleshooting

  • Boxx isn't asking — it just sent. That action class is on Trust or Auto, not Watch. Open Settings → Autonomy and switch it back to Watch.
  • I confirmed but nothing went out. Check the job's status in your pipeline. If it's still Awaiting approval, the send didn't complete — try again, and see docs/reference/troubleshooting.

FAQ

  • Do I have to turn Watch on? No. It's the default. New accounts are already in Watch.
  • Does Watch cost anything? No — it's on every plan, including Free.
  • Can Boxx still draft and revise without asking? Yes. Watch only gates the moment something goes out to a customer. Drafting and revising happen freely.
