Meet Studio

Overview

Studio is the fastest way to drive Setell — just talk to it in plain English. Ask for what you want — "quote 50 brackets for Northwest Fabrication," "follow up with Dana," "what's stalling?" — and Setell does the work: drafts quotes, revises them, writes follow-ups, finds jobs and customers. It's the same Setell underneath the buttons; Studio is just the fastest way to drive it.

Where to find Studio

  • Studio is the first item in the left nav — that's the full-screen page, for when you want room to work.
  • On any other page, open the docked panel: press ⌘J (Ctrl+J on Windows), or click Studio in the top bar. The panel sits down the right-hand side and pushes the page over rather than covering it.
  • On a phone, Studio is in the bottom bar. There's no floating button.

It's one conversation. The dock and the full-screen page show the same thread, so you can start a request in the panel and carry on with it full-screen.

How to use Studio

  1. Open Studio.
  2. Type what you want — or tap the mic and just say it.
  3. Setell does the work and shows you the result — a draft quote, a follow-up email, a list of stalled jobs.

  • "Quote 50 aluminum brackets for Northwest Fabrication."
  • "Drop the rush fee and add 10 more brackets." (a revision)
  • "Write a friendly follow-up on the Reyes job."
  • "Which quotes haven't been opened yet?"

What Studio costs you

Studio conversation is counted as AI messages. Free gets 25 in total — a lifetime allowance, not a monthly one, so it doesn't come back on the 1st. Solo gets 100 and Business 200, both refreshing every billing period. Pro isn't counted. Drafting a quote spends an AI quote from a separate allowance on top of that. See docs/account/plans.

You're always in control

Setell starts in Watch mode: it drafts your quote and asks before it goes to the customer. Nothing sends behind your back. The one thing that goes out immediately is a follow-up you asked for — telling Setell to nudge someone is the go-ahead, so it writes the note and sends it. As you build trust, you can let Setell handle routine work on its own — see docs/autonomy/overview.
