Currency
Overview
Pick the currency you work in, and every total across Setell shows in it — your quotes, your invoices, and the customer portal. This is display only: Setell formats your numbers in the currency you choose; it doesn't convert between currencies.
Before you start
Nothing required — this works on every plan.
Steps
- Go to Settings and find the Currency section.
- Open the Display currency dropdown.
- Pick your currency. The choices are US Dollar (USD), Canadian Dollar (CAD), British Pound (GBP), Euro (EUR), Australian Dollar (AUD), and Mexican Peso (MXN).
- Confirm the change. It saves right away ("Saving…" appears, then it's done).
What happens next
- Totals across the app now show in your currency — dashboard, quote editor, invoices, and the customer portal.
- The numbers stay the same — only how they're written changes (for example
$1,234.56in US Dollars vs£1,234.56in British Pounds).
Troubleshooting
- The symbol didn't change everywhere. Refresh the page — older totals on screen pick up the new format on reload.
- The amount looks the same, just a different symbol. That's expected. Currency here is display only — Setell doesn't do exchange-rate conversion.
- My currency isn't in the list. Setell supports the six listed above today. If you need another, let us know.

FAQ
- Does Setell convert my prices? No. It only changes how amounts are written. Set your prices in the currency you'll bill in.
- Which currencies can I pick? US Dollar, Canadian Dollar, British Pound, Euro, Australian Dollar, and Mexican Peso.
- Does my customer see the same currency? Yes — the portal and quote show the currency you set.
- Can I change it later? Yes, anytime, from the same spot.
