What Setell does
Overview
Setell turns the messy back-and-forth of quoting into one clean flow: a request comes in, Setell drafts the quote, you send it, your customer approves and signs, you get paid, and it all lands in QuickBooks. It's built for service-business owner-operators — machine shops, contractors, trades — not for a sales team. The job is the agent; you stay in control of every step you care about.
The loop
- A request comes in — by email, your intake form, or you just describe it to Boxx.
- Setell drafts the quote — branded as your business, priced from your own history.
- You send it — your customer opens one link (no logins, no lost PDFs).
- They approve, sign, and pay — right in that link.
- It syncs to QuickBooks — invoice out, payment back. No double entry.
Three ways to work
You don't have to change how you work to use Setell:
- The app — a clean dashboard for everything.
- Your inbox — requests come in, quotes go out, branded as you.
- Your agent — drive Setell from Claude, ChatGPT, or your own tools (Pro).
Whatever you pick, it's the same Setell underneath — the pieces stay in sync.
You set the pace
Setell starts in Watch mode — it drafts and asks before it does anything outward. As you trust it, you can let it handle routine work on its own (Trust and Auto, Business and Pro). It never sends behind your back unless you tell it to.
