Docs / Getting started
Create your account & sign in
Overview
Setell has no password to remember. You sign in whichever way suits you: a one-time link we email you, Continue with Google, Continue with Microsoft, or Sign in with Intuit. New here? Signing in for the first time creates your account automatically — there's no separate sign-up form.
Before you start
- A work email you can check — or a Google, Microsoft, or Intuit (QuickBooks) account.
- That's it. No credit card to start.
Steps
- Go to the login page. You'll see "Quote faster. Close more." at the top.
- To use email: type your address in the email box and click Continue with email →.
- We send you a link. The page changes to "Check your inbox." Open the email and click the link — that signs you in.
- To use Google, Microsoft, or QuickBooks instead: click Continue with Google, Continue with Microsoft, or Sign in with Intuit, and approve on that provider's screen.
- First time signing in? Setell sets up your account and drops you into setup. Coming back? You land on your dashboard.
What happens next
- New account: you go straight into brand setup — your first step. See
docs/getting-started/brand-setup. - Returning: you land on your dashboard.
- QuickBooks-first? Sign in with Intuit does double duty: one Intuit consent both creates your Setell account and connects QuickBooks, so you land in Setell already connected.
- No password is ever created or stored. Each sign-in is a fresh link or your Google, Microsoft, or Intuit login.
Troubleshooting
- The email link didn't arrive. Check your spam folder first. Still nothing? On the "Check your inbox" screen click Resend link (it's available again after about 30 seconds).
- "That sign-in link has expired." Links are single-use and time-limited. Just request a new one — type your email and click Continue with email again.
- "Too many attempts — try again in a few minutes." You asked for several links quickly. Wait a few minutes, then try once more.
- Wrong email typed. On the inbox screen, click ← Use a different email and start over.
- Still stuck →
docs/reference/troubleshooting.
FAQ
- Do I need a password? No. Setell uses email links, Google, Microsoft, and Intuit / QuickBooks sign-in — nothing to remember or reset.
- Is there a separate sign-up page? No. Your first sign-in creates your account.
- Can I switch sign-in methods later? Use whichever you like — email link, Google, Microsoft, or Intuit — as long as it's the same email address on the account.
- Do I have to pay to start? No. You start free and can upgrade later from Settings.
