Jobber (historical import)

Overview

Already running on Jobber? Connect it so Setell can read your finished jobs and learn your real numbers. This is a one-way import — Setell reads your past Jobber work to warm up its pricing. It never writes anything back to Jobber, and it won't move your live work over.

Not connectable yet. The Jobber card is in Settings, but clicking Connect to Jobber currently returns "The Jobber integration isn't available on your plan yet." — that message is misleading: it's Setell's Jobber developer integration that isn't live, not your plan. Everything below is what the connection does once it is. To get your history in now, export it from Jobber and use docs/import/spreadsheet.

Before you start

A Jobber account you can sign in to (you'll approve access on Jobber's site).
Any paid plan — Solo, Business, or Pro. Importing history is part of pricing memory, which comes with every paid plan. If you're on Free, Import historical jobs prompts you to upgrade first. See docs/account/plans.

Steps

Go to Settings → Connections and find the Jobber card.
Click Connect to Jobber.
Approve access on Jobber's screen. You land back in Setell and the card reads Connected — historical jobs ingested on demand.

What happens next

Once connected, click Import historical jobs on the Jobber card to pull your completed jobs — the import runs in the background.
Each imported job becomes pricing signal — Setell references it when you quote similar work, so your numbers start grounded in your own history.
Re-running the import is safe: jobs you've already imported aren't duplicated.
Imported history shows up to Setell within a few minutes of the import finishing.

Troubleshooting

Card still says "Not connected" after approving. The approval didn't complete. Click Connect to Jobber and run through Jobber's screen again.
"Jobber is not connected. Connect in Settings first." The import was triggered before the connection finished. Connect on the Jobber card, then it can run.
An import is already running. Setell won't start a second import while one is in progress — wait for the first to finish.

FAQ

Does this move my live jobs into Setell? No. It reads your finished jobs as pricing signal only — your active Jobber work stays in Jobber.
Does Setell change anything in Jobber? No. The import is read-only, one direction.
Will it create duplicates if I import again? No — re-importing skips jobs already brought in.
How does this help me? Your quotes start with prices from your actual past work instead of from scratch.
