Your patterns
Overview
Your patterns turns your own quote history into plain-English takeaways — what share of quotes you close, the time of day your quotes land best, and which little extras (like a warranty line or a few photos) help you win. It's not a dashboard full of numbers. It's a short stack of cards, each one telling you one thing you can act on.
Before you start
- Open Insights in the left menu.
- Setell waits until you've sent about five quotes before it shows personalized numbers. Until then you'll see a friendly note instead of made-up patterns — one lucky win shouldn't become a rule.
What you'll see
Each card is short: a headline, a sentence or two, and one button if there's something to do.
- Accept rate — the share of your sent quotes that get accepted. The big-picture number.
- Best send window — the hour your quotes convert best, drawn from when you actually sent them.
- View → decide — once a customer opens your quote, how long they usually take to decide. Helps you time a nudge.
- Warranty lines and Photos attached — whether adding these lifts how often quotes close, comparing your quotes with them against your quotes without. This is the "what lifts my quotes" part.
- By trade — which kind of work closes best for you, once a trade has enough quotes to call.
Some cards compare you two ways: Versus you (your own quotes against each other) and Versus SMBs (a rough industry read). Your own numbers lead — you against you is the honest comparison.
The send-time chart
Below the cards is a small When you send chart. Each bar is an hour of the day, and the bar's height is how many quotes you sent in that hour. Your best-converting hour is highlighted in your brand color, so you can see at a glance whether you're sending at your strongest time.
What to expect
- Cards appear and reorder based on what your data actually shows — you won't see a card for a pattern you don't have yet.
- Numbers update on their own as you send and close more quotes. There's nothing to refresh or run.
- A card only shows a number when there's enough history behind it. No history, no guess.
Troubleshooting
- "We'll personalize this once you've sent a few quotes." You haven't sent five quotes yet. Keep quoting — the cards fill in as the history builds.
- A card says "not enough to call yet." That specific pattern needs more quotes before it's trustworthy (for example, the warranty card needs enough quotes both with and without a warranty line). It'll appear once you cross the line.
- A number looks off. Each card shows a small footer with the counts behind it — check that first. If the counts look wrong, see
docs/reference/troubleshooting.
FAQ
- Is this a revenue or sales report? No. Your patterns shows close-rate and send-timing takeaways from your own quotes — not revenue, funnels, or charts of money. It's about what helps you win, not how much you made.
- Where do the numbers come from? Only your own sent quotes, scoped to your account. Nothing is shared or compared against other businesses' private data.
- Why don't I see all the cards? Cards only show when you have the history for them. They appear as you build volume.
- Can Boxx use these patterns? Yes — Boxx reads the same patterns, so its advice lines up with what you see here.
