Letterhead & brand color

Overview

Make every quote look like it came from your shop. Your brand color tints the quote, the customer portal, and the button in your emails. Your letterhead is a wide banner image across the top of your quote PDFs. Set both once and they ride along on everything you send.

Before you start

Nothing required — this works on every plan. For the letterhead banner you'll need a hosted image link (an image URL that starts with https://).

Set your brand color

Your brand color comes from setup, and you can change it anytime.

  1. When you set up your brand, drop in your logo — Setell pulls colors from it and suggests them.
  2. Pick your color from the suggestions or set your own with the color picker.
Want a different color for one specific template? Each template has its own Primary color and Logo that override your global brand for quotes from that template. See docs/branding/templates.

Set your letterhead banner

  1. Go to Settings → Business Profile.
  2. Under Letterhead (optional), paste your hosted image link in the URL box.
  3. Set the height in pixels (40–240; default is 80). A live preview shows below.
  4. Click out of the box — it saves on its own ("Saving…" appears, then it's done).

What happens next

  • Your brand color shows up on the quote, the customer's Deal Room, and the button in outgoing emails.
  • Your letterhead banner appears across the top of your quote PDFs and template previews.
  • Change either anytime — new sends pick up the change right away.

Troubleshooting

  • My letterhead preview is blank. The image link has to be public and start with https://. Open the link in a new tab — if it doesn't show your image, host it somewhere that gives a direct image URL.
  • The banner looks squished or huge. Adjust the height. Use a wide, short image (banner-shaped) for the cleanest look.
  • My color didn't change on a quote. That template may have its own Primary color set, which overrides your global one. Open the template's Brand section and click Inherit from Settings.
  • It didn't save. Letterhead saves when you click out of the field. If you see an error in red, check the link and try again.
  • Still stuck → docs/reference/troubleshooting.

FAQ

  • What's the difference between my logo and my letterhead? Your logo is the small mark. Your letterhead is the wide banner across the top of the PDF. You can use both.
  • Why a link instead of an upload for the letterhead? The banner takes a hosted image URL. Your logo (in setup) is a direct upload.
  • Can I have a different look per template? Yes — each template carries its own logo and color. See docs/branding/templates.
  • Does my brand color affect the customer's view? Yes — the Deal Room your customer opens is tinted with your color.
