Your quote-request form
Overview
Setell gives you a "Request a Quote" form of your own, carrying your name, logo, and color. Share it as a link, or drop it into your website. Someone fills it out and it lands in Setell as a new job — ready to draft. No new tools, no extra inbox to watch.
Before you start
- Nothing, if you just want the link.
- To put it on your own page: a site you can paste an
<iframe>into (most site builders allow this). - This is on every plan.
Get your form
- Go to Settings and find Your Quote Form — the card headed Collect quote requests from your website.
- Click Show my quote form. Setell sets it up and shows you its address.
- Click Copy link. That's the whole thing — put it in your site's navigation, your email signature, your Google profile, anywhere.
Put it on your own page instead
- On the same card, open Embed on your site (advanced).
- Click Copy embed code and paste that snippet into your page where you want the form.
The snippet is an <iframe> pointing at your form's own address, so the embedded version and the shared link are the same form — and both stay branded.
What happens next
- Every submission creates a new job automatically.
- You'll see the person's name, email, company, phone, and what they need — then draft a quote like any other request.
- Submissions arrive through the same door as your email, so they may pause in your Inbox for a quick yes. See
docs/quotes/inbox-triage.
Troubleshooting
- The form doesn't show on my site. Confirm the whole
<iframe>snippet was pasted, and that your site builder allows iframes. Open your form's link on its own to check the form itself is fine. - Submissions aren't reaching me. Open the link straight from Settings and send a test through it. If that arrives, the copy on your site is stale — re-copy with Copy embed code.
- It doesn't look like my brand. Your logo and color come from your brand setup. See
docs/getting-started/brand-setup. - Still stuck →
docs/reference/troubleshooting.
FAQ
- Where do submissions go? Into Setell as new jobs.
- What does the visitor fill in? Name and email (required), plus optional company and phone, and a description of what they need. The optional details section also takes material, dimensions, quantity, a needed-by date, and the job address — when a customer gives one, the job is priced for that location's market and the address is already on the job when you open it.
- Do I need a website for this? No. The link works on its own — plenty of people just share it.
- Does it match my brand? Yes. It carries your name, logo, and color, the same as the Deal Room (
docs/deal-room/branding).
