Embed a quote-request form on your site

Overview

Put a "Request a Quote" form right on your website. A visitor fills it out, and it lands in your Setell inbox as a new job — ready to draft. You paste one snippet of code; Setell handles the rest. No new tools, no extra inbox to watch.

Before you start

  • A website you can paste an <iframe> into (most site builders allow this).
  • This is on every plan.

Steps

  1. Go to Settings → Embed Quote Form and find the Website Quote Request Form card.
  2. Click Generate Embed Key. Setell shows your Embed Code and a live Preview of the form.
  3. Click Copy Embed Code.
  4. Paste the snippet into your website where you want the form to appear.

The snippet is an <iframe> pointing at /request-quote?key=<your embed key> — that key is what ties submissions to your account.

What happens next

  • Every submission creates a new job in your Setell inbox automatically.
  • You'll see the visitor's name, email, company, phone, and what they need — then draft a quote like any other request.
  • The card shows Embed endpoint active with a green dot once the key is live.

Troubleshooting

  • Form doesn't show on my site. Confirm the full <iframe> snippet was pasted (including the ?key= part), and that your site builder allows iframes. Re-copy with Copy Embed Code to be sure.
  • "Missing embed key." The form was opened without the key in the URL. Use the exact snippet from Copy Embed Code — the key has to stay in the address.
  • Submissions aren't reaching my inbox. Double-check the embedded key matches the one in Settings. If you regenerated the key, re-copy and re-paste the snippet.

  • Where do submissions go? Straight into your Setell inbox as new jobs.
  • What does the visitor fill in? Name and email (required), plus optional company and phone, and a description of what they need.
  • Can I see what it looks like first? Yes — the card shows a live Preview after you generate the key.
